We made it through our first night home without too much of a problem Linda fell asleep about 8pm last night. She was so uneasy about the whole transplant thing, but she finally fell asleep. At around midnight she started to fuss (love the baby monitor!) so we checked on her. She did fall asleep without a bottle, so we knew she had to be hungry; we fed her. Mel and I discussed the plan and she took the first shift and I went back to bed. We both thought that she may be on China-time, so we expected some oddities in hours. The next thing I know is I am up about 8am with Mel sleeping and no sounds from the baby's room. Wow! Linda woke up at about 9am this morning!
Today was good. Linda was quite relieved that we were still here and not much has changed. I had her fed and diaper changed while Mel slept away the morning. At about 10:30 Linda and I decided to wake mom up, so off to the bedroom. Linda and I sat down and watched Mel sleep which was too much for Linda; she started to laugh! Mel woke up with a smile as dad and Linda were right there . Mel told me that they were up for about an hour before Linda nodded off again. Now that was a good night.
Here's a gallery of some photos taken when we came home yesterday. Enjoy!

We arrived quite tired, but still vertical.

Let me go! Let me go! Where am I?

Wow it's bright here! Where the heck am I?

Just out of the car where she fell asleep. I know I will be wasting a lot of gas in the future to make her sleep. This is also her first sight of the dog, Amber.

Still not sure of the dog, nor is Amber sure about the kid!
